Competitive Cribbage - Winter 2026

It’s hard to believe that 2025 is already coming to a close as we wrap up another season of Competitive Cribbage in Autumn 2025. With that behind us, the Winter 2026 Season of Cribbage Pro Competitive Matchmaking is now fully underway!

Autumn 2025 is officially in the books, marking another strong season with player participation and match volume holding steady compared to our record-breaking Summer 2025 run. Below you’ll find the full results for Autumn 2025, followed by a brief overview of some of the improvements rolling out for Winter 2026.

Autumn 2025

As the Cribbage Pro competitive matchmaking continues to improve and grow as the largest cribbage tournament anywhere, thank you all for your participation and feedback that keeps making it better all the time! A good example of that has been the changes introduced in Autumn 2025, which I think has not just helped improve the system itself, but also provided some clarity around the requirements to everyone who participates.

The final official Autumn 2025 results have "yank29" earning 1st place (past 5th place finisher). 2nd place went to "Dhrun" (a past 1st place finisher who nearly made 1st here with an unlucky loss near the very end of the season), with "hillchem" (past 6th place finisher) rounding out the top three. All three are long time Cribbage Pro players as well. Several others in the Top 50 may look familiar, but we also saw a real growth in new faces making the Top 50 this season too. Our honorable mentions this season go to "Domerzag" who moved up 35 places from last season, "tbrasa" who moved up 21 and to "dph" and "MC2b" who both moved up 15 places from last season.  Congratulations to all on their hard work this season!

Special awards for the Top 50 players include in-game board pegs: the top player receives the "crown" peg, while others in the Top 50 get the "star" peg. These pegs are prominently displayed in online multiplayer games, serving as permanent badges of distinction earned through competitive play.

Reminder: Complete 10 matches per week, and 10 per full week of the season!

Updates for Winter 2026

For Winter 2026, we’ve tightened the matchmaking algorithm to improve what qualifies as a “good match,” and added several internal adjustments designed to keep pushing match quality even higher. Remember that comparing only the CR difference between two players doesn’t fully capture what makes a match balanced. Some CR gaps will naturally be larger than others even when the underlying match quality calculation is similar.

Because of these improvements, you may occasionally notice longer matchmaking wait times, and possibly more so toward the end of the season. If those delays become too disruptive and aren’t delivering the benefits we expect, we may scale back some of the changes to ensure matches are still created in a reasonable time frame. Ultimately, the more players who jump in, the faster matchmaking becomes for everyone, so keep inviting friends and family to join the fun!

Lastly, a quick reminder that we’re still transitioning away from backend and system work. New features are continuing to move forward, but progress is slower than we’d like. This behind-the-scenes maintenance is essential for overall stability, even if it’s not the most exciting part of development. As we gradually shift back toward new feature development later this year and into 2026, we appreciate your continued patience and support.

As always, thank you all so much for participating and for your suggestions that keep improving the game for everyone!

Competitive Cribbage - Autumn 2025

The summer heat is fading (for some of us) as autumn in the Northern Hemisphere approaches - perfect cribbage weather. The Autumn 2025 Season of Cribbage Pro Competitive Matchmaking begins now!

Summer 2025 was our first season with the improved ranking system and our most active summer ever in terms of both players and games played. Our first full Competitive Cribbage season concluded in August 2020, so this autumn marks five years of competitive play in Cribbage Pro. Overall the season was a success, and we did see a few outliers we want to mitigate. Below you’ll find a quick results recap for Summer 2025, followed by the changes being implemented.

Summer 2025

As the Cribbage Pro competitive matchmaking continues to evolve and grow as the largest cribbage tournament anywhere in the world, I'm always so very grateful for all of you and your continued support, suggestions and participation. Truly, thank you!

The final official Summer 2025 results, have "Casper238" securing 1st place, with an impressive run of wins in various "spurts" throughout the season which resulted in a high final win rate (although a lower number of total matches - more on that below). 2nd place went to "ThreeG" (a past 1st place finisher in what was then just called "Season 3"), with "AJackOLit" (past 18th place finisher) rounding out the top three. Several others in the Top 50 will definitely look familiar, while once again several are new. Congratulations to all on their performance this season!

Special awards for the Top 50 players include in-game board pegs: the top player receives the "crown" peg, while others in the Top 50 get the "star" peg. These pegs are prominently displayed in online multiplayer games, serving as permanent badges of distinction earned through competitive play.

Updates & Changes in Autumn 2025

First, a quick note: over the past few months I've focused on backend/system work and other behind-the-scenes items, so some new features aren't quite ready. Most of that less visible work is behind us now (though always ongoing), so I'm shifting back to feature development and expect to bring some exciting additions to Cribbage Pro by the end of the year or early 2026. I’m also planning a Beta so some of you can jump in early.

As mentioned earlier, Summer 2025 produced a few outlier results during the season and in the final standings. A handful of players appeared on the Leaderboard with relatively low total match counts, and usually very high win rates attributable to a mix of variance/luck and skill. However, lower volume makes rankings less reliable than we'd like. In fact, the season's 1st-place finisher had an unusually low number of total matches.

We don't change rules mid-season, so we let Summer play out. Still, when this happens, the system isn't optimally limiting variance/luck and highlighting skill. It needs more matches to do that effectively. To improve this, we're adding a cumulative minimum matches rule for Leaderboard eligibility, in addition to the existing "10 matches per week you play" participation rule:

  • New rule: To appear on the Leaderboard, you must have played at least 10 × (full weeks completed since the season start) total matches (UTC).

How this works for Autumn 2025:

The season starts at midnight Wednesday, August 20 (UTC). Those first four days (Wed–Sat) form a short week with no weekly 10-match requirement (as usual) and no cumulative minimum.

  • First full week: Sun Aug 24 – Sat Aug 30 → 1 full week → minimum 10 total matches starting 23:59:59 Sat (UTC).

  • Each week after: adds +10 to the total minimum (week 2 = 20, week 3 = 30, etc.).

  • Season length: 12 full weeks → final cumulative minimum 120 matches.

  • Last days (Sun–Tue) are a closing short week with no minimum, useful for catch-up.

Since it came up a few times this season, here’s a bit more color on the Summer winner, "Casper238". They didn't wait until the end for a lucky sprint. They started near the beginning in May, played several top players, took breaks, returned, and repeated. They did incur the weekly-minimum penalty a few times, but recovered by winning (often 2–0) against strong opponents; their losses were roughly split between 0–2 and 1–2. How much of that was luck vs. skill? We can't say definitively, and it would be unfair to call it all "just luck." Casper238, I hope you, and everyone, return for Autumn to see how this new minimum plays out.

Finally, several asked what would have changed if a rule like this had already been in place. Numerically, not much beyond a few positions: the 1st-place finisher would have been ineligible, "ThreeG" would move to 1st, and a couple of others below the Top 50 would miss out for not meeting the minimum. That shift would bump some players up in ways we recognize as "meaningful" (e.g., "Meow80" into the Top 10, "AJackOLit" to 2nd and "Dhrun" into 3rd) and open a Top 50 spot, which will be our honorable mention for "scotiagir". Most players were already well above the new minimum, so movement would have been modest overall.

As always, thank you all so much for participating and for your suggestions that keep improving the game for everyone!

Competitive Cribbage - Summer 2025

Summer is once again heating up, and so is the competition! The Summer 2025 Season of the Cribbage Pro Competitive Matchmaking tournament has officially begun. It’s your chance to sharpen your skills, rise through the ranks, and prove yourself against the best in the game. Whether you're defending your title or aiming for your breakout moment, the board is set - let the games begin!

During the Spring 2025 season, we noticed some unexpected behavior in how the ranking system was performing. Although initial checks didn’t reveal any clear issues, we kept a close eye on things as the season unfolded. Thanks to continued monitoring and feedback from the community, we eventually pinpointed the root cause and got to work on a solution. It wasn’t easy. Some parts were challenging and, honestly, a bit frustrating. After weeks of focused effort, we’re confident that the improvements now in place for the Summer 2025 season will make competitive play better than ever. At the end of this post, I’ll go into more detail about the recent ranking system changes, along with a brief tribute to a valued member of the cribbage community we sadly lost. I hope you’ll take a moment to read both. But first, as is tradition, let’s take a quick look back at the results from Spring 2025.

Spring 2025

Despite the unexpected challenges, the Spring 2025 season saw an impressive turnout, with a remarkable number of players and games played. We saw higher player counts than several past seasons, and the highest ever for total games played in a season. The core format will remain the same for Summer 2025, aside from the important improvements discussed below. With that work now behind us, we’re turning our focus toward developing some exciting new features for the future. This competitive matchmaking system continues to grow as the largest cribbage tournament anywhere - and that’s entirely thanks to you. We’re truly grateful for your continued support and participation!

For the final Spring 2025 results, "cutajack" secured 1st place, improving on a previous best of 9th. In 2nd,through 4th places we had a tight race this season. There was meaningful movement there even up to the final few days. In the end, 2nd place went to "DAiello" (a past 1st place finisher), with another regular top player "nob4one" (past 2nd place finisher) rounded out the top three, just edging out "seachica" in the final hours of the season. Several others in the Top 50 will definitely look familiar, while several are new.

Of Math & Mysteries in Spring 2025

As mentioned earlier, the Spring 2025 season brought some unexpected behavior in how the ranking system calculations performed in various situations - despite no changes to the actual game code. That made things especially puzzling. After digging deeper, we traced the root cause to low-level server system updates made prior to when the season began. These updates subtly changed how certain complex mathematical operations were being handled under the hood.

The differences were incredibly small - sometimes at the 0.0001 level - but those tiny discrepancies added up. The most noticeable impact was on how the system calculated the confidence (or more technically, uncertainty) factor in player ratings. In short, the system was becoming too confident too quickly about where players ranked. That might sound like a good thing, being confident, but in a game like cribbage where luck can play a meaningful role, we want the system to take more time and consider more data before locking in on a player’s skill level. Otherwise, ranking movement slows down too quickly, and wins or losses have less impact than they should.

So what did we do about it? We ran extensive simulations using past season data, testing a wide range of fixes. We tried everything from minor tuning tweaks to full rewrites of the core math and other related sections of the system. We studied other ranking models, poured through more math papers than we ever wanted to, and ultimately made the decision to switch to a new (but closely related) ranking system. It’s still in the family of Glicko-2 style models, but it uses an improved framework for how calculations are performed that should provide more stable results from season to season with less dependency on the underlying server nuances that the old system had which caused this issue.

Our testing shows that this new system closely matches the historical performance we’re aiming for, while also improving consistency and responsiveness in how ratings adjust. Final rankings aren't expected to be impacted, as the model is so very similar to how things worked in the past, but you may notice smoother (and more accurate) CR changes, especially toward the end of the season.

We’re confident this upgrade will make the competitive experience better than ever. Still, if anything feels off or looks wrong, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Remembering "lofty1234"

lofty1234

If you’ve ever glanced at the Cribbage Pro Leaderboard for single-player games, chances are the name "lofty1234" stood out for both being the top player and also for the total number of games played. Richard - known to all his friends as “lofty” - has held that top spot for a long time, and likely will remain a fixture in the "All Time" rankings for years to come. It’s with great sadness that I share the news, recently shared with me by his family, that Richard passed away on May 10th, 2025, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and two young grandchildren.

Richard wasn’t just a top player - he was a true cribbage enthusiast. His dedication to the game was unmatched, logging an extraordinary number of games that often led others to wonder if he might be a bot. But as I’ve confirmed publicly before (and have personally verified multiple times), Richard’s games were entirely real - driven by passion, not automation.

What follows is a portion of his story that was shared with me by his family. I’ve lightly edited their words for clarity and format, but it is overall unchanged. It's a beautiful reminder of the joy cribbage can bring, and a tribute to one of its most devoted players. Richard’s legacy lives on in the community he helped inspire.

Richard played cribbage for as long as anyone can remember, first "IRL" (In Real Life) in local leagues for a pub in his hometown. He also used to enter the UK National Championship with his friends in the 90s and early 2000s, including being Team Pairs Runner Up in the 1995-6 competition (trophy pictured below). It was a good excuse for the group to get a weekend away together each year and have a few drinks. More recently, following his retirement, he played online. He tried a few apps, but really took to Cribbage Pro. As you can tell from his stats, he treated it like a full time job for a number of years - at first to overtake jclark44 (now 5th), but once at the top of the board to our surprise he just kept playing and extending his lead.

Despite the speculation, he was not house/bed-bound; as your team correctly responded on a Reddit thread, he was “just someone who plays fast, and plays a lot, and has for many years”.

He also enjoyed playing Dominoes (and was UK National 3-a-side champion in 1995), watching Chelsea FC & England play football, and his daily trip to the pub with his mates.

His avatar picture in Cribbage Pro (shown above) is a picture of his dog, Poppy, who was also with him when he passed. Below is a picture of Richard enjoying his favourite pastime, having a beer in the sunshine.

Competitive Cribbage - Spring 2025

It’s time to shake off the winter chill and welcome the fresh competition of Spring! The Spring 2025 Season of the Cribbage Pro Competitive Matchmaking Tournament is here – bringing a new opportunity to climb the ranks, refine your skills, and battle it out against the best. Whether you're looking to defend your position or make a name for yourself, now’s the time!

Before we jump into the action of Spring 2025, let’s take a quick look back at how the Winter 2025 season wrapped up.

Winter 2025

The Winter 2025 season brought in an impressive number of players, coming close to setting a new record for winter participation—historically the busiest season of the year. While feedback on this season’s changes was mixed, the overwhelming response was very positive, so we’ll be keeping the same format for Spring 2025. In the meantime, we’re focusing on developing exciting new features for the game later this year. This competitive matchmaking format continues to grow as the largest cribbage tournament available anywhere, and that’s all thanks to you. We truly appreciate your participation!

This Winter 2025 season saw a lot of changes in the Leaderboard over last season, with several of the top cribbage players showing up to bring their best game to the contest. However, I should also mention that we saw multiple players drop from their positions in the Top 50 during the last few weeks of the season simply due to lack of completing the 10 matches per week. It is important to remember that those adjustments that impact your CR from lack of meeting the minimum are "progressive" and build from week to week. At the same time if you return to getting your matches in even after missing a week or two, you can often recover if you can get enough new matches completed.

For the final results, holding on to first place we have a somewhat "regular" here, with "iPeg", followed by someone we have also seen near the top before with "TC2" in 2nd with a past best of 2nd place as well many seasons back (and in the top 10 / 50 multiple times too). In 3rd we have "Dhrun" up from 6th last season, and similarly someone who isn't new to the top positions (achieving 1st a few seasons back). Lastly, as honorable mentions for Winter 2025, we have "ernie313" who came all the way up from 43rd last season (and has a best of 2nd), to 8th this season and "Alaska47" up to 15th (a new personal best) from 46th! I also want to add a special thank you to "Alaska47" for helping to identify and squash a bug in the system this past season. I genuinely appreciate everyone who takes the time to report issues rather than assuming we already know—it truly helps make the game better for everyone!

With Winter 2025 now in the books, it’s time for a fresh start. Who will rise to the challenge this season? Let’s find out—see you on the leaderboard!

Special awards for the Top 50 players include in-game board pegs: the top player receives the "crown" peg, while others in the Top 50 get the "star" peg. These pegs are prominently displayed in online multiplayer games, serving as permanent badges of distinction earned through competitive play.

Competitive Cribbage - Winter 2025

It's time to cozy up with some more competitive cribbage! The Winter 2025 Season of the Cribbage Pro competitive matchmaking tournament is here – giving you the perfect excuse to stay in, play, and outpeg the competition while the frost settles in outside. Jump in to test your skills, sharpen your strategy, and experience the thrill of top-tier cribbage – all from the warmth of home!

Before diving into the exciting news about what's new for Winter 2025, let's take a brief moment to summarize the finish to the Autumn 2024 season.

Autumn 2024

The autumn season had a lot of new faces bringing their top game, and it is always fun to see new names on the list. There was also some interesting drama in the top spots during the final days of the season. We had 4th place jump up to 2nd, bumping everyone else down while 3rd dropped to 5th within just the last 48 hours. It is a good reminder that it is hard to try and just sit comfortably with playing only a few games in the last few days of a season, as we have seen that backfire on a regular basis if you don't have a substantial lead.

For the final results, holding on to first place we have someone we have seen before at the top many seasons back now, "Mrpadre" (up 26 positions from last season), followed by "31four14" in 2nd who has been playing and competing for several seasons with a past best of 17th place (and the player who made that jump from 4th just prior to the end of the season). In 3rd we have "locust" who is also a long time player, but new to the Top 10 (placing 62nd last season, but a best of 14th several seasons back). Lastly, as a quick honorable mention, we have our last season first place finisher "DAiello" in 4th.

Special awards for the Top 50 players include in-game board pegs: the top player receives the "crown" peg, while others in the Top 50 get the "star" peg. These pegs are prominently displayed in online multiplayer games, serving as permanent badges of distinction earned through competitive play.

Improvements for Winter 2025!

In feedback that I get from time to time, I have heard a couple of general themes that are being addressed with changes starting this season. These themes are suggestions about finding ways to keep games moving quickly, improving the turn time limits and enhancement of the player disconnect / reconnect system. Each of these have changes that I believe will help make the game experience better for everyone, and these changes are why we are requiring all participants in the competitive season to have the latest current update of the game in order to play.

First, on the disconnect / reconnect system, there have been improvements made to better track player activity, monitor device connection quality and reduce "time to reconnect". All of these things are "under the hood" changes that have been made for all multiplayer formats in Cribbage Pro, with some special consideration given to the competitive matchmaking games in particular. Of course this doesn't prevent someone from rage quitting, and the system waiting for a reconnect. That is just the nature of online games. However, it should keep accidental disconnects from happening as often, and when they do happen it should improve the recovery of the connection to continue playing. The end results should be fewer disconnects and faster reconnects for everyone, with continued improvements planned for future updates as well based on how these changes perform over time.

For the changes to turn time limits, the first thing that was done is to improve the synchronization of the timers between both players. This will help make it more clear when someone has actually exceeded the turn time limit, and help prevent any false alerts that their time was exceeded when it really had not expired on their device before they initiated the play. However, the big change here is that for competitive matchmaking games only, the turn time limit is now a split timer of 10 seconds to discard, and 6 seconds for all other plays instead of the full 10 seconds every turn. Most players were already performing within those limits, so for many this won't change much at all in your side of the game. However, there were some players where even playing that last card would take the full 10 seconds every time, and that just frustrates everyone who has experienced it and is not in the spirit of true competitive play. A 4 second difference in the timer for playing a card may not sound like much, but it all adds up. In the end, I think this will be a very positive improvement for everyone, and possibly one we can consider adding as an option in classic multiplayer games too.

Finally, to keep games moving quickly without needlessly waiting on your opponent to do the only thing they can do, and related to the previous item around timers, all competitive matchmaking games are now set to always use "Auto Go" and "Auto Deal" every game. That means it does not matter what you set in the overall game settings for those settings (single player and the casual classic multiplayer games aren't impacted by this change and continue to use those overall settings). In this competitive format, the game will now always automatically deal the cards for every hand, and always automatically send the "Go". So now there is never any waiting 10 seconds for your opponent to just give the "Go". It will all happen automatically for both players.

With all of these improvements combined, I hope you will all find this season even more fun than ever! As always, if you have any questions, feedback on what you would like to see around awards, structure / format or anything else, email us any time at support@FullerSystems.com.

Competitive Cribbage - Autumn 2024

Attention cribbage enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels! The world’s largest online cribbage tournament kicks off again with the Autumn 2024 Season in Cribbage Pro. Join now to experience thrilling competitive play and sharpen your cribbage skills today!

As the leaves slowly begin to turn for us in the northern hemisphere, let's briefly reflect on everyone's accomplishments in the Summer 2024 season. The competition was as fierce as ever, with some nail-biting finishes even near the top, where there was a chance of an apparent "tie" happening (more on that below). Now, we're eager to see how you'll raise the stakes this autumn.

The Summer 2024 cribbage season has drawn to a close, with all the statistics and top performers etched into the record books. The season kicked off with great enthusiasm, and as the hot summer days kept heating things up, participation levels stabilized at a solid average that keeps growing from season to season - particularly when compared to year over year. Building on the momentum of the previous active season, it's been fantastic to see so many dedicated players continuing to embrace the competitive format's exhilarating spirit. Although the number of players this season were slightly below the previous, compared to the same season last year we had far more players.

Some have asked me recently what that means in terms of actual total players, so I'll give you some rough numbers. Last year (2023), for the summer season there were roughly four thousand players. This summer (2024) saw nearly five thousand players. For the other 2024 seasons prior to that, it was even more. To add even more color to this, there were about 250 thousand (yes, a quarter of a million) matches played this last season, and remember those are "best of 3" matches. That does mean that clearly some players didn't play very many matches (sometimes they played a few and didn't place where they wanted to and so stopped playing), but in any case that's a lot of games! This is why I say this is the largest cribbage tournament in the world. Of course I also believe this is simply the best competitive cribbage anywhere, because it has all of you playing in it!

On a related note, the Daily Cribbage Scrimmage challenges have become a popular feature, adding excitement and competitive spirit to our cribbage community. If you haven’t participated yet, now is the perfect time to join in. Sharpen your cribbage skills, compete against friends, and enjoy the fun - even when your schedules don’t match up.

As we transition into the cooler Autumn 2024 season, we're keeping the format the same as last season, with no changes in format. However, I want to add an important remember here. The penalty for not making the 10 matches per week is not trivial, and it can build up from week to week. As you miss the minimum for more weeks, that confidence factor diminishes to the point that it can become difficult for you to find a match. This becomes more noticeable towards the end of the season, where I regularly hear from some players in that position who are having trouble finding a match. This has always been because they have had a lot of weeks with penalties. If you can avoid the penalties by playing your minimum matches per week, then finding a match will be easier for everyone.

Summer 2024 Wrap Up

The summer season was a testament to the growing strength of our community. Although there are always slightly fewer players in the summertime, we still saw some fierce competition, with many positions decided by razor-thin margins. Even the top positions were moving and swapping places until the very end. Notably, "DAiello" claimed the crown (coming from 8th last season), followed closely by "iPeg" and "dcpastore" (who had a nice climb up the Leaderboard last season too). We also witnessed some good improvements from "nob4one" (up to 6th, from 9th), "scout3" (34th to 18th), and "Mrpadre" (40th to 27th).

A special nod goes to some of our newcomers who made it into the top 10: "gm0n", "Checkop", "linurbug9", and "rpmcd". It is always fun and exciting to see new names working their way up!

I know that some of you had some rough drops in ranking from last season, so just a word of encouragement to hang in there and give it another run this new season! Everyone starts fresh, and this could be your chance to break into the top positions. Keep playing your minimum matches, and particularly if you start earlier in the season you can continue to improve every season.

As usual, we have the special awards given to those who secured a place within the Top 50. In recognition of your accomplishments, you've earned an in-game "board peg" symbolizing your achievement. The highest-ranking player receives the prestigious "crown" board peg, while all others in the Top 50 receive a distinctive "star" board peg. These pegs are prominently displayed during online multiplayer matches and serve as a permanent badge of distinction. If you see an opponent with one of these pegs, know that they've earned it through their performance in competitive play, securing a spot among the top contenders.

Potential Leaderboard "Tie" Situations

Before we wrap up the summary for the season, I do want to talk about the apparent "tie" situations we can see from time to time in the Leaderboard CR that is shown. For instance, in this final Leaderboard for the season, we have a whole number tie in CR shown at positions 20 and 21, 24 and 25, 33 and 34, 35 and 36, etc. A question I sometimes get about this is simply asking how is the tie broken in those situations. There are actually two answers to that question.

First, the tie that you see is almost always not an actual tie, but it just appears that way in the rounded value you can see as the CR shown on the screen. In reality, the CR is calculated out to 15 decimal places, and I have yet to see anyone finish the season with an actual tie in the Top 50 at that level. To continue the earlier example, positions 24 and 25 actually have CR values of 4204.377940010873760 and 4204.204572520185920 respectively, but those both round to just "4204". So that is is the first way that any tie is broken - by the fact that it just isn't a true tie even though they are very close.

Second, and this really only applies at the very start of a season when there are few matches actually played yet, the tie is broken by the player XP in classical multiplayer games. This may sound kind of arbitrary, but it exists just as a starting point for each season until players actually start playing matches. In fact, usually within the first hour of the season, that factor becomes completely obsolete and the CR is the only thing that matters. So it is just a kind of placeholder until matches are finished for the season, but in theory it would also break a true numerical tie situation. There is actually a third level there as well, where the tie would be broken by the players overall win percentage in competitive matches, but reaching that third level of tie breaker is pretty much never going to happen. I don't know the exact probability there, but it will be extremely small and highly unlikely to happen. So, before you ask, no there is no 4th level currently in the system to further break a tie. I suppose if we did get into that situation, I would use something like past performance in past seasons potentially.

Competitive Cribbage - Summer 2024

Cribbage fans around the globe, get ready to heat up the virtual boards! The largest competitive cribbage tournament in the world is kicking off with the Summer 2024 Season of Competitive Cribbage!

The thrilling Spring 2024 cribbage season has drawn to a close, with all the statistics and top performers etched into the record books. The season kicked off with great enthusiasm, and as the warm spring days grew longer, participation levels stabilized at a solid average that keeps growing from season to season. Building on the momentum of the previous active season, it's been fantastic to see so many dedicated players continuing to embrace the competitive format's exhilarating spirit. We had even more players this season than we did the last, which itself broke records.

Adding to all that fun is the recent release of an exciting new game version which introduced the new Daily Cribbage Scrimmage challenges. If you haven't seen that update yet, or haven't tried the daily cribbage challenge there, definitely check it out! It is a great way to compete with your cribbage friends without having to all be online at the same time.

As we transition into the sizzling Summer 2024 season, we're keeping the format consistent for now, with no major shakeups. Although the tweaks made for Spring 2024 did cause some players to wait longer to find a match, I hope that the extra waiting improve the overall experience by creating better matches for everyone on average.

Spring 2024 Wrap Up

Spring 2024 welcomed another influx of new players, many of whom showcased their skills and climbed the Leaderboard throughout the season. It's been a joy, as always, to witness these fresh contenders challenge themselves and their opponents this season! The competition was as intense as ever. Many finished with their positions separated by single digits if not mere fractions, and several shifted positions up until the final hour / minutes of the season (like "PeggyBree" getting bumped from the top 10 and "bigshane0" fighting their way up to 5th). A heartfelt thank you to all who participated, on and off the Leaderboard, for your invaluable contributions. Even if you didn't secure a Top 50 spot, your dedication is truly appreciated. And thank you to those who brought friends along to share in the cribbage excitement – you all made Spring 2024 another one to remember!

Taking the 1st place crown for Spring 2024, and someone we have seen around here before, is "Dhrun"! Congratulations on that hard fought position this season, and a great finishing CR! In 2nd place, we have "Br1Guy", another familiar face and someone who came up 20 positions from last season. And rounding out the top 3 is "lbolt58", who was our top finisher just the season prior. Other notable movements included "dcpastore" jumping up 26 spots to finish 4th, "yvanobc12" climbing 35 places to 7th, and "cyrusg" up 14 spots to land at 22nd!

For our honorable mention this season, I would like to acknowledge a few players who didn't place in the top 50 last season, but are here in the top 10 this season. Those are "808HWK", "DAiello" and "dkatz1877". This season was a blast to watch, and I sincerely hope you all had as much fun as I did! Alongside them, we also saw plenty of familiar names on the list, deserving of a huge round of applause and congratulations for their outstanding performances! Well done to you all!

As usual, we have the special commendation given to those who secured a place within the Top 50. In recognition of your accomplishments, you've earned an in-game "board peg" symbolizing your achievement. The highest-ranking player receives the prestigious "crown" board peg, while all others in the Top 50 receive a distinctive "star" board peg. Competitive Cribbage - Spring 2024

Competitive Cribbage - Spring 2024

The Winter 2024 season of competitive cribbage has finished, and once again it went far above my expectations! This is starting to sound repetitive, but yet again there were more players in the Winter 2024 competitive season than we have seen in a long time. In fact, there were more players than we have ever seen before, and more matches played than ever before! I know that the competition was intense at every level. We will be keeping the changes made last season in place at least until further improvements are made in other related areas that we are actively working towards. Spring 2024 will match the format of Winter 2024 - no changes.

Winter 2024 Wrap Up

The Winter 2024 season brought a fresh wave of participants, with numerous new faces adding to the mix. However, amidst the influx of newcomers, there were also many familiar names who returned to showcase their skills, as evidenced by the final Top 50 standings. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to each and every individual who contributed to the season's success. Your active involvement is the cornerstone of our cribbage community, shaping its vibrancy and diversity, whether you made it to the Top 50 or not. I appreciate each of you for being a part of this wonderful journey. Thank you for making the Winter 2024 season memorable and enjoyable for all!

In 1st place for Winter 2024, we have "lbolt58", who is up from just 3rd place last season. 2nd place is someone we have seen before too, "nob4one", who is up from 12th last season. 3rd place goes to "iPeg", who was 10th last season, but certainly someone we have seen in the top positions often. "Mrpadre" will get our honorable mention this season, coming in at 10th and up from 27th last season. They held on to that position for a while here at the end of the season, and I know it took some solid effort to do that, with so much strong competition this season.

Other interesting positions to note include "VGKnights", who has now finished 5th for the second season in a row. "hillchem" moved up 5 positions from 17th to 12th, and "scout3" went up from 33rd last season to finish 14th!

I hope that you all enjoyed the competition. Congratulations to you all for your putting your skills to the test!

These pegs are prominently displayed during online multiplayer matches and serve as a permanent badge of distinction. Competitive Cribbage - Winter 2024

The Winter 2024 Competitive Cribbage Season is Live!

The Autumn 2023 season of competitive cribbage has wrapped up, and it was one for the record books! There were more players in the Autumn competitive season than we have seen in a long time. The competition was fierce, with some recognizable names in the world of cribbage also in the Leaderboard. The season started off extremely active, and just ramped up from there every week. I had thought that with the previous season being so active, many would slow down this time, but it was exactly the opposite! I know many of you noticed how busy things were, and with many new players (new to our competitive play, but clearly not new to cribbage itself) in the mix, it was very challenging.

New Season Updates

I want to quickly cover a handful of new season updates before providing a short summary of the end of the Autumn season. Some matchmaking adjustments have been made. We have tightened up the matchmaking algorithm in respect to what constitutes as an acceptable match between players of different estimated skill levels and expected match outcomes. There are several factors that the system considers when finding a match, and they have all had their limits narrowed to at least some degree. At the same time, other changes were made that will have the system progress through all possible matches just a little faster than in past seasons. Ultimately, we hope to see matches a little closer in ranking on average, and slightly fewer matches with larger skill rank differences, while also finding matches faster for everyone. Of course the best way to keep match wait times down is to continue to invite your friends to play! That is by far the biggest factor when finding a match, so do please encourage your fellow cribbage players to participate.

We have also enhanced how the "wait time" works while finding a match. Previously, if you started finding a match, then canceled and started again for any reason, your wait time in the matchmaking system would reset each time you started finding a match. That will no longer be the case. If you cancel finding a match, and then start again, the system will retain the original start time to calculate your total wait time. It will then "timeout" if no match is found based on when you first started finding a match. If you were someone who would stop and start a lot in a short period of time, and so rarely see any time out message, you may get the "no match found" message more often than before. If you were someone who would start finding a match and wait patiently, then this won't impact you at all. To further clarify, the total wait time before timing out has not changed. At 120 seconds from the first press of "Find Match", it will stop searching even if you canceled and restarted multiple times during that time. After those 2 minutes, regardless of if you saw the "no match found" message, if you start finding a match again, it will start the clock again too.

Autumn 2023 Wrap Up

Once again, my gratitude goes out to everyone who took part in the Autumn 2023 season. Your participation truly makes all the difference. Your dedication and involvement, whether or not you secured a place in the Top 50, mean a lot. Each player's contribution to our cribbage community is invaluable. Your enthusiasm and commitment elevate the competitive atmosphere, and make every match memorable and exciting. Thank you for being an essential part of this competition, and in bringing the incredible game of cribbage to others!

In 1st place for Autumn 2023, we have "Dhrun", who didn't place last season, but in the season just prior was in 2nd. They held that top spot for a while this season, and it was a tough season. "Dhrun" has also been in 2nd and 3rd place multiple times in past seasons, so it is really great to see them hit 1st place this time! 2nd place is also someone we have seen before too, but much more recently, "Saskie", who is up from 4th last season, and who was our "honorable mention" the season before. We are starting to get used to seeing them a lot around here as they had 1st a few seasons back too. 3rd place goes to "lbolt58", who was 19th last season (and 21st before that, and 29th before that), so quite an improvement! "konadive" held 3rd for a little while this season, but just couldn't quite hold on for the finish. They get our honorable mention this season.

Other interesting movements in the Top 50 included "VGKnights", up 21 places to finish 5th. "dph" moved up all the way from 48th last season to be 9th. As an interesting player note, "dph" has been playing in Cribbage Pro since at least February of 2011. They are one of a few long time players who play in the competitive system. So, a special thank you to "dph" for playing for so many years!

It was a lot of fun watching some names climb up (like "iPeg" making a late run to break into the top 10), and even fun to watch some who I thought were going to take it all, get bumped down this season. Although I'm sure it wasn't as much fun to actually be the player who dropped in standing, I hope that you all enjoyed the competition. Congratulations to you all for your putting your skills to the test!

As always, a special acknowledgment goes to those who achieved a place within the Top 50! As recognition for your efforts and display of skill, you have been awarded with an in-game "board peg" that represents your accomplishment. The top finisher is awarded the "crown" board peg, and all others in the Top 50 are awarded a "star" board peg. These pegs are shown to everyone when playing in online multiplayer games, and they are permanent, so if you see your opponent has one of them you can know that they have earned it by finishing in the Top 50 in competitive play.

Remember: Complete 10 matches per week! See the FAQ for details.

Competitive Cribbage - Autumn 2023

The Autumn 2023 Competitive Cribbage Season has officially commenced!

The excellent competition in the (slightly shorter than usual) Summer 2023 season of competitive cribbage has come to a close, with all the statistics and top performers recorded. The season started off very busy, as is becoming a trend, with a lot of participants and some more new faces. More total games and matches were played this season than in the last season, and more than in many others as well. It was a busy one for many.

As we start into the Autumn 2023 season, there are no significant changes to the format. I know there are still desires for some changes, and we are still planning to do some, so I truly appreciate everyone's patience with that. After a bit more about last season, we have some important news about changes for Contest play as well, so be sure to read through to the bottom of this post for that.

The onset of Summer 2023 ushered in a wave of eager participants, with fresh faces gracing the Leaderboard. I'm sure some of you were thinking we may not see some of the past top players when the season first started, but that definitely changed as things progressed. The competition throughout the season was fierce, especially during the closing weeks at the pinnacle of the Leaderboard. These final weeks were marked by a captivating back-and-forth struggle, akin to a dynamic game of "musical chairs" as mentioned by some social media posts about the season. Watching "Mrpadre" move up to first place, then shortly later back down in what was essentially the final moments of the season, was both surprising and exciting to watch!

A sincere thanks again to all who took part, both as active contenders on the Leaderboard and as those just having a good time competing against your friend's ranks. It truly does take all of you to make a season work, and so thank you all for playing. Regardless of whether you found a spot within the coveted Top 50, the commitment and engagement shown by each of you is appreciated. It really does take all of you to make a season! Lastly, I just want to again acknowledge and extend a special thank you to those who introduced their friends to the exhilarating world of cribbage, and particularly our competitive cribbage format.

In 1st place for Summer 2023, we have "rookie22" up from 3rd last season. This top spot had some back and forth, even up to the very last few minutes of the season where a few final games made the difference to holding on! 2nd place is also someone we have seen before, "Mrpadre", up from 33rd last season. 3rd place goes to "iPeg", who really doesn't need much of an introduction, but was super fun to watch trade places as they broke into the Top 50 this season after joining in quite a bit later than usual. As a kind of honorable mention this season, we have "Saskie" finishing 4th, who was our 1st place last season. It looks like perhaps there was a "push" to try and get a few final games in by several players over the final days and hours, that caused a lot of back and forth in those top spots! That strategy may have worked for some, while not so much for others.

Other interesting movements in the Top 50 included "holinzend", up 25 places to finish 5th. "cbx1000z" who wasn't in the Top 50 last season, but finished in 7th place, "nob4one" finished in 10th up from 46th, and many others making big moves from past seasons as well!! The atmosphere was electric as we observed an exhilarating showdown for the leading ranks during the conclusive phase of this season. The recent weeks brought us closely contested rankings that had us on the edge of our seats. It was truly a delight to watch, and I sincerely trust that the enjoyment you experienced matched the enthusiasm I felt! Congratulations to each and every one of you for your exceptional displays of skill!

A special acknowledgment for all who achieved a place within the Top 50 this season! As recognition for your amazing achievement, you have been awarded with the special in-game "board peg" that represents your accomplishment.

Contest News - Cribbage Pro Contests is Retiring

For those who have been playing in past competitive cribbage seasons, you may notice something different this time around. Starting from this season onward, we're taking a different route by not giving out Cribbage Pro Gold awards for the Top 50. Very few of those Promotional Gold awards given out in the past were ever used, so practically speaking this isn't a significant change for most of you. Still, I wanted to share some insight into what is going on with the Contests system and why Cribbage Pro Gold wasn't awarded this season.

All players who were eligible to cash out their Cribbage Pro Gold have already received notifications about this. However, for those who are not yet aware, I'd like to share that the Cribbage Pro Contests system has gone into retirement and officially closed as of August 15th, 2023. There are several factors as to why that is, but after much consideration, and particularly given the limited popularity of Contests, we've decided it's the right time to move forward and focus on other work. This allows us to shift our focus towards other areas of the game while we work on bringing in more exciting features for all of you to enjoy! Thank you to everyone in the Cribbage Pro community who actively participated in the Contests system. We're working hard on introducing new and exciting features for you to enjoy in the future, possibly with that Gold still being used. Your continued support means the world to us, and we can't wait to share these new updates with you!

If you still have Cribbage Pro Gold in your account that is more than only "Promotional Gold" (so Gold that you actually either purchased or Promotional Gold that you used in a Contest and won as a prize amount - making it eligible to be cashed out), you can still cash that out if you missed the initial transition/retirement window. Simply email us any time with your request (email from the email address on your account, and include your username). The cash out process will be done manually now that the Contest system is retired, so it will run a little slower, but we will still get you cashed out. We will hold that cash out system open for an entire year from the date the Contests system ended (so until Aug. 15th 2024).

For those who have Promotional Gold that doesn't have a cash out value, like that which was awarded for a past competitive season and never used, it is still there on your account (even though future updates to the app will remove the Contests section so you may not see it). We hope to bring some new features in the future where you can make use of it at that time. As such, we will continue to not enforce the 6 month expiration of Promotional Gold, so it will stay there on your account. We don't have any more details to announce right now about what those features will be, but we will share more when we can.

If you have any questions, feedback on what you would like to see around prizes, structure or anything else, email us any time at support@FullerSystems.com.

Competitive Cribbage - Summer 2023

Get ready to heat up the cribbage board, because the Summer 2023 Season of Competitive Cribbage is live and in full swing!

The exciting Spring 2023 season of competitive cribbage has come to a close, with all the statistics and top performers firmly locked and recorded. The season started off with great enthusiasm, and as the allure of the spring weather grew stronger, the level of participation and number of matches played stabilized to an about average level. Following an exceptionally active previous season, it is gratifying to witness a considerable number of players who remain dedicated to the thrill of the competitive format. Adding to the anticipation for the upcoming season is the exciting release of a new version of the game that is gradually rolling out to players over the next few weeks.

As we dive into the sizzling Summer 2023 season, note that we're keeping the format consistent and not shaking things up right now, with no major changes to the format.

Spring 2023 welcomed a fresh influx of enthusiastic players, with many newcomers showcasing their skills and climbing the Leaderboard throughout the season. It's a real joy to witness the arrival of these new contenders and witness their exciting journeys unfold! The competition this season was thrilling, as the race for the top position was incredibly close for a while, with mere fractions separating these cribbage titans. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all who participated, both on and off the Leaderboard, for your invaluable contributions. Even if you didn't secure a spot in the final Top 50, your dedication and involvement are truly appreciated. And let's not forget to extend a special thanks to those who brought along their friends to share in the cribbage excitement! Together, you made Spring 2023 a season to remember.

In 1st place for Spring 2023, we have "Saskie" up from far behind last season, although a regular player and past top finisher a few seasons back. Good to see you back in the mix! 2nd place is someone we have seen in the Top 50 multiple times before, "Dhrun". In 3rd we have "rookie22", who may need to consider a username change in the near future, as they were a top finisher just last season as well. Other interesting movements in the Top 50 included "TC2", up 10 places to finish 4th. "Doksboy" moved up 13 places to finish in 9th place, "MTBiggs" finished in 10th up from 22nd, and "scout3" finished 13th up from 261st!! The excitement was intense as we witnessed a thrilling showdown for the top positions in the final stretch of this season, with the last few weeks delivering some nail-biting, neck-and-neck battles. It was a blast to witness, and I genuinely hope that all of you had as much fun as I did! Let's not forget about the incredible achievements of numerous other players who made significant strides during this season. Alongside them, we can also see many familiar names on the list, which calls for a big round of applause and congratulations to each and every one of you! Well done on your outstanding performances!

Kudos and heartfelt recognition are extended to each and every player who secured a spot in the prestigious Top 50 this season! As a token of recognition for your remarkable achievements, you have been bestowed with the special in-game "board peg" that symbolizes your triumph. But wait, that's not all! To truly honor your exceptional skills, we are also thrilled to present you with Cribbage Pro Gold that can be used in the Cribbage Pro Contests system and then redeemed for cash (awards must be used at least once in a Contest to be cashed out to USDC, see the full terms and conditions for details). The Gold awards do expire, so use them or lose them! If you are awarded Gold, and are not sure what it is good for (or how to access the Contests system), read through the links above or email us any time if you have questions. On iOS you will need the "Cribbage Pro Contests" version of the app, and on Android and Windows you need to install the game using the Amazon Appstore. It is easy to do, so don't let that app install process get in the way of some good cribbage fun! The Cribbage Pro Gold awards are as follows (not cumulative):

  • 4 Gold for Top 50
  • 7 Gold for Top 25
  • 10 Gold for Top 10
  • 20 Gold for 3rd Place
  • 30 Gold for 2nd Place
  • 50 Gold for 1st Place

The top finisher is awarded the "crown" board peg, and all others in the Top 50 are awarded a "star" board peg. These pegs are shown to everyone when playing in online multiplayer games, and they are permanent, so if you see your opponent has one of them you can know that they have earned it by finishing in the Top 50 in competitive play.

Leveling Up: Exciting Improvements And Changes to Cribbage Pro

Cribbage Pro Just Got Even Better!

Cribbage Pro has been bringing joy to countless players for many years, and now it's even better with a range of amazing new features and improvements! Here are some of the highlights of what's new in Cribbage Pro that you're sure to love:

New Logo/Icon:

The game icon has received a subtle but significant update. It now boasts an overall brighter color, showcases more of the cards, and makes it easier to recognize at a glance. This way, you can be confident that you're playing the same fantastic game every time you come across the Cribbage Pro icon. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect to see across all platforms where you can find Cribbage Pro:

Cribbage Pro

Hand Grades: The game now features a "Hand Grade" for you AND your opponent's hands!

Now, with the Hand Grade feature, you can access a detailed breakdown of how your discard choice compares to the alternatives whenever you finish a round (the calculation process is explained below). Simply select the "Grade Details" button to review the specific factors that contributed to the hand's final grade:

Cribbage Pro Hand Grade

Selecting "Grade Details" shows the potential scores and ranking for each possible discard:
Cribbage Pro Hand Grade Details
  • The top line shows whether it was your hand, or your opponent's, and the calculated grade.
  • The second line shows all of the cards dealt for that hand, and who is the dealer with the crib.
  • If you want to learn more about how the crib average and total is calculated, you can select the "?" button.
  • Every possible discard to the crib is shown in each section that follows, sorted from the highest grade to lowest. The discard that was chosen/used is highlighted with a yellow border.
  • To better understand the scoring breakdown in each section, take note of the following information provided:
    • The resulting 4-card hand is displayed, along with the calculated minimum, maximum, and average scores for that hand.
    • An estimated crib average is also displayed, which is either added or subtracted to show the final number on the right side of the section.
    • If the other player has the crib, the crib values will be subtracted from the average score. On the other hand, if the player has the crib, the crib values will be added to the average score.
    • For instance, in the example above, the "Avg - Crib" shows the estimated average score with the crib values subtracted. However, if it were the player's crib, it would show "Avg + Crib" instead.
This amazing tool can turbocharge your gameplay, providing you with invaluable insights to make those all-important discard decisions. But, let's not forget, this is just a general guide, so feel free to mix things up and try some creative strategies to outsmart your opponents! Whether you're going all-out for the highest hand grade, or adopting a defensive playstyle, there's always room for some good old-fashioned fun. Remember, this tool is just one piece of the puzzle, and when you're up against some advanced players, you may need to throw in some well planned board-position-based tactics to emerge victorious! Still, like many of the other features in the game, if this is not for you, you can simply hide the Hand Grade in the game settings at any time.

Round Summary: See a summary of scoring for each round of play!

We're thrilled to introduce the new Round Summary feature, which displays the scores for both players across all scoring types at the end of each round of play. Once the crib is scored, simply take a quick peek at the game board to see this awesome new addition in action:

Cribbage Pro Round Summary
Let's break it down: Cut card points are only earned when the Jack is cut, commonly known as "two for his heels".Therefore, it's common to see a zero score in this category. Meanwhile, "Pegg." refers to the points earned during the pegging/play phase, while Hand and Crib are pretty self-explanatory. You can use this feature to keep a pulse on how you are doing in each round relative to your opponent. If the Round Summary is distracting you for any reason, don't fret! You can easily disable it in the game settings.

New "Auto-Deal", "Auto-Go" & Animation Speed Options

Get ready to take your game customization to the next level with some awesome new options! We're talking about auto-deal, auto-go, and animation speed features that allow you to tailor the game to your preferred playstyle. With auto-deal, the game automatically deals the cards without any button pressing required. Similarly, auto-go automatically processes the go, when it's time to "say go". And as for the animation speed option, you now have the power to select your preferred sliding value, ranging from 0 to 100 percent of the possible animation speed (which is also the computer's play/discard speed). A value of "0" means a slow and steady pace, while "100" is lightning fast! Choose whatever speed feels just right for you and your style of play. You can always adjust these settings at any time, without affecting any saved game progress.

New Options to Mark Board Progress, Highlighting "Par Holes" & More

We've added a bunch of exciting new options, so don't forget to take a moment to explore them all in the game. Here are a couple more that we think are particularly noteworthy: First up, you can now mark your board progress with filled holes, making it easier to keep track of your score on the game board as the game progresses. By default, the holes are filled in as the front peg progresses for each player, allowing for a quick glance at the board to see the score.

You can now also adjust the size of the playing cards shown during the game as well. If you have a device that is wider than it is tall, if it has an unusual screen size, or maybe just because you like to see more of the game table and less of the cards, you can adjust the Playing Card Size any time you want. You can choose any percentage from the very small 50% to the full usual 100%.

If you're looking to up your game even further, the "Par Holes" feature shows the ideal score progression on the game board during gameplay, based on the cribbage "Theory of 26". This is all about helping you with your board position strategy, and was discussed in more detail in our blog post titled Cribbage Strategy and Board Position. If you're new to the world of "Par Holes," the "Theory of 26," or playing based on board position, don't worry! We've got you covered. Check out the  previously linked article for an introduction to these concepts, and then follow some of the links provided at the bottom of the article for further study. But, if you're already a seasoned player and ready to take your game to the next level, then enable the "par holes" option as a guide along your journey to improve your strategy. With this feature enabled, each of the par holes is highlighted on the game board, along with information on who was the first dealer to start the game and the current round of play. (Take a look at the board image below for an example.) This option isn't enabled by default, but we highly recommend giving it a try - it could make a huge difference in your game! So, when you're ready to up your cribbage game, give the "par holes" option a shot and see how much it can help.

New Game Board & Peg Design

You might have already noticed the sleek and stylish new game board that comes with Cribbage Pro's latest update. The old square tracks have been replaced with rounded corners that offer a more traditional and easy-to-read look. The pegs have been refined, too, with better angles and smoother animations that make them even more enjoyable to use (make sure to keep an eye on them when you score that winning point!) Here is the new game board with the "Par Holes" and "Mark Board Progress" options enabled:

New End of Game Summary

We've also updated the end game screen to provide you with more details on your performance compared to your opponent. In addition to showing the last cards played in the game, you can now see a detailed breakdown of the final score. This will give you a better understanding of how you and your opponent performed in each scoring category, including points for hand, crib, pegging, and the Hand Grade! Take a closer look and use this information to fine-tune your strategy and improve your game:

New Account Management Options

Looking to protect your account or just play a quick game without creating an account? We've got you covered! It is now much easier to log out of your account entirely if you want, as well as use a new "Guest" mode of play where you don't need an account at all to enjoy a quick single player game. This means it is now easier to manage your account security, and particularly if you need to switch to a different account or want to make sure nobody else can change your account if you use a shared device to play. It also makes it clear if you are a "Guest" playing, and what can/can't be saved in that mode.

UPDATE: Now Set Your Avatar to Any Image!

You can now set your avatar to any image you like! You no longer need to use Facebook to have a custom image or photo for your avatar. Just go to the game settings, and under the account section you can now choose an image directly. Note that there is a review process with any image submitted, and if the system detects that your image may be inappropriate in any way, it must then go through a full audit before it can be approved. So, keep it clean and family friendly, and you should be good to go!

Other Improvements/Changes

We've made countless improvements and changes in this update, from the way messages and input prompts are displayed to the size and positioning of various elements throughout the game. The game itself has remained relatively unchanged (aside from the features mentioned already), so the basic layout is all the same as before.

New Unified System for All Platforms

If you are a fan of Cribbage Pro, you may have noticed some differences in how the game looked on different devices. But with this latest update, we have unified the game under one system, which means that everyone now has access to the same features and game engine. This is great news for players, as it means that we can roll out new updates and features to everyone simultaneously, regardless of the device they use to play.

This update also allows us to explore new and exciting ways to bring the game to even more devices in the future, which we are really excited about! And for players who are new to Cribbage Pro, these changes make the game more approachable and easier to learn, while still providing the same immersive and customizable experience that fans of the game have come to expect.

So why not give the latest update a try and experience Cribbage Pro for yourself? Whether you are a seasoned player or just starting out, we are confident that you will find the game more enjoyable and fun to play than ever before. Get the update, and play Cribbage Pro today!

** Note that the update to the latest version of Cribbage Pro on mobile devices requires Android version 7.0 or higher, and Apple iOS/iPadOS 12.5 or higher.
